Think of OpenSpace as your online campus. In OpenSpace you can visit the lounge, the library and your units. You can even communicate with your trainers, our student support team and other Open Colleges students.
The Student Lounge
The Student Lounge is where you’ll find all your support services – learning; workplace learning; language, learning, literacy and numeracy (LLN); and student administration.
Your learning materials and assessments
Under ‘My Units’ you’ll find all your course materials, assessments and other resources related to your study period. You can upload your assessments and contact your trainer from here. ‘My Units’ is also where you’ll be able to post something to your course forum, and if there is a study period forum, you can post to that here too.
Your trainer
Under ‘My Units’ you can post messages on student forums, contact individual students and contact your trainer.
The Library
In the Library you can access the GALE Library as well as other online databases. The GALE Library is your main research library. It’s a vast resource that contains thousands of articles about any subject that interests you and it’s updated daily.
